Hero MotoCorp - Low cost bikes

Hero Motocorp is one of the largest bike sellers in india, in terms of volume. Now company had decided to produce low cost bikes in the range of Rs.20,000/- to Rs.30,000/-, which is expected to be big lead in the indian bike market. The lowest priced bike in Hero Moto Corp is CD Dawn priced at Rs.34,500/- only. However, HMC has to face some problems of maintaining the quality of their products, and it should compromise the bike performance characteristics like mileage, speed, suspension and braking systems.

Hero MotoCorp (HMC) made this decision of producing low cost bikes, after conducting numerous surveys, which revealed that majority of the people like to buy a low cost bike between twenty to thirty thousands. If HMC successfully satisfies the people's demand, then this would change the entire bike riding scenario in india.  Hero MotoCorp presently the top most two wheeler manufacturer in india, and the company is looking forward to more strengthen themselves, in the increasingly competitive automotive sector in india.

Hero MotoCorp had collaborated with Erick Buel Racing company in order to produce, performance bikes in india. They also has tie ups with AVL engines, to produce their own engines for their products, rather than buying engine from other companies, for their bikes. Thus Hero MotoCorp is looking ahead to remain to be the master in the Indian Roads.
