Tata Nano does not perform in sales as it was expected during its launch. Immediately after the launch of Nano, Tata's market shares mounted up drastically. But the car is almost a flop model. Even, Ratan Tata, ex-chairman of Tata Groups accepeted that Nano is a flop model. He also added that the price tag 'World's Cheapest Car' is the major reason for its failure.
But, the Nano Emax (with CNG compatibilty) is performing well. The CNG version of Nano is giving positive results and quiet good orders for nano manufacturing plant in gujrat. Tata has also planned to export nano to Indonesian and European markets as market trend changer in their countries. Have to wait for the results of Nano's International Performance.
