India's largest selling 110cc bike "TVS Star City", gets more better looks and performance in the 2012 edition of the bike. For the first time a TVS bike is to get a dual colored body and to come six different color combinations namely, Electric Green, Bold Blue, Red Blaze, Gold Spark, Silver Strike and Crimson Flash. Bike has high fuel efficiency and high toughness. Star City has engine made with TVS's indigenous technology CVTi - Continuously Variable Timing Ignition, which enhances the performance and increases the pick up of the bike without compromising the mileage.
As per the ARAI certification, under the standard conditions, bike gives an mileage of about 83.9 kilometers per litre (Kmpl). The basic model of TVS Star city costs Rs.38,650/- (mumbai ex-showroom) with five years warranty. Bike has black alloy wheels, sophisticated seatings, better suspension system, and amazing blacklit speedometer. TVS Star City also has another device called econometer, which makes the rider to ensure maximum mileage at lower fuel consumption.
