HMSI Becomes Third Largest Bike Seller


Honda Motors and Scooters India((HMSI), becomes 3rd largest bike seller in india. Honda moves up to No.3 spot, replacing TVS motors. Bajaj is the next competitor for Honda, which is at the second place and Hero MotoCorp at the top position in terms of number bike units sold in this year. Honda lagging behind Bajaj, by just close range of only 7,000 bikes, which can be easily reachable by Honda. Honda is also going to launch Honda Yuva 110 in the middle of this year.

Honda Yuva 110 is cost effective bike, priced around Rs.40,000/-. This will grab the attention of the bike buyers in the market, because of its low price tag, and pretty attractive bike performance. Honda's bike sales increased upto 11.2% in the month of february  than january 2012. Mr. NK Rattan, sales, VP, corporate and planning officer of HMSI told, there would be a tight competition between bajaj and honda for the No.2 spot, after launching of Honda Yuva 110.

Honda Yuva 110 would be also tight competitor for CD Dawn, and expected to perform like Honda CB Twister which is one of the big hit bike model of honda. Honda is accelerating the production of Honda Yuva 110, while Bajaj Boxer 150 is still remaining to be at the entry level, is worth notable.
