Tata Indica and Indigo Emax - CNG Version
Tata has launched the CNG version of Indica hatcback and Indigo compact sedan cars. Tata is continuously launching the CNG version of their cars naming it as Emax versions. Currently, the two versions are available only in few states like, gujarat, uttat pradesh, maharastra, delhi, andhra pradesh and tripura. Tata started with Nano Emax and also announched that emax launches will continue in phased manner in 2014.
Normal drivable range of these cars is 230 Kilometres, while petrol mode offers 600-650 kilometres, which means that in CNG version the tank has to be frequently refuelled than petrol version.
