Suzuki Inazuma GW250 to be launched in india by January, 2014. One of the officials of suzuki confirmed to autocarpo about the launch. Inazuma GW250 comes to india through the CKD (Completely Knocked Down)route and it will be assembled at the Gurgaon Plant. Price of the bike would the major factor determining the success of the model, because many similar bikes are already in market launched by different companies. Some of the competitive models are Honda CBR 250R, KTM Duke 390, Kawasaki Ninja 300 and also the upcoming mahindra mojo.
Inazuma GW250 is powered by 248cc liquid-cooled engine which can produce peak power of 26 Bhp at 8500 rpm and peak torque of 24.2 Nm. And the engine is a parallel twin cylinder type. Bike has 182 Kgs of kerb weight which is quite higher for a 250cc bike, and this could considerably reduce the mileage. Additionally bike has six-speed manual transmission.
