Hero Honda bikes is to be renamed after the decades long relationship broken up between Hero group and japan's automobile giant Honda. According to the agreement between Hero and honda companies, hero moto corp can sell the bikes in the earlier brand name Hero Honda till the end of the year 2014. So, hero moto corp have started renaming their bikes currently in the market. Hereafter, Hero Honda CBZ Xtreme will be called as Hero Xtreme, Hero Honda Dawn Deluxe will be called as Hero Dawn Deluxe, Hero Honda Karizma ZMR PGM-Fi as Hero Karizma ZMR Fi in the near future. There is no big changes in the names of the bikes, only the term honda have been removed. And so, this will not create any drop in sales of the bikes, as the customers can easily recognize the altered names.
Hero Moto Corp is also seems to keep attractive names for its upcoming bikes, as the word Xtreme, in the Hero Honda Xtreme had made to pick up its sales during its launch in the indian bike market. Hero group is also looking to improve their promotional strategies, to increase the sales of their porducts. Already the promotional theme song of Hero Moto Corp is been composed by Oscar Winning Composer, A.R.Rahman, hero group is still looking ahead to spend more for advertisements.
