Yamaha Launches upgraded SZ R and SZ X 150


Yamaha is one of the top motorcycle manufacturers in india. Yamaha is in the way of launching more and more new bikes in the indian automotive market, which is booming presently. In that way, Yamaha launches the upgraded versions of  'Yamaha SZ R' and 'Yamaha SZ X 150'. The upgraded model is a new facelift and additional kick start option. It is expected that major changes in both of these bikes includes, alterations in the cooling system of the engine, so that the bike gives boosted up performance.

Yamaha Bikes in SZ series would be in tight competition with Bajaj Discover 150, Honda Unicorn and Hero MotoCorp Achiever.

Now let glance at the features and specifications of Yamaha SZ R. Bike has 153cc, single cyclinder, air cooled engine, with 4 stroke, two valves, SOHC technology. SZ R delivers a peak power of 12.1PS at 7500 rpm and peak torque of 12.8Nm at 4,500 rpm. Upgraded with kick start with the existing electric start facility and has disc brake at the front wheel.  Mileage of the bike is said to be around 70Kmpl, but considering all the difficulties in the indian road conditions, Yamaha SZ R would give a mileage around 50 to 60 Kmpl. SZ R comes in three different colour shadings, Red, Black and White.









Yamaha SZ X 150 also, almost has the same features of SZ R. Both the bikes differs only in the looks and styles. And also SZ X 150 model does not have disc brake is notable. Both these bike cost around RS.49,500/-, which is a much impressive price.
