Bharat Benz owned by Daimler, is emerging as the new truck major in india. Bharat Benz has sold 4,62,000 trucks in 2013 which is achivement for daimler since 2006. Tata Motos and Ashok Leyland are the leading companies in commercial vehicle segment. Emerging bharath benz is providing tight competition to these market leaders, which also caused even dip in sales of Ashok Leyland's trucks.
Ashok Leyland compromised the dip in sales of truck by increased sales of 'Dost' model light weight vehicle. Benz trucks are more attractive & stylish than other trucks and also equally performing vehicle for carrying heavy loads. On a whole, bharath benz is emerging as truck major of the country.
