TVS planning to regain its third spot, after honda motorcycles and scooters india, got the third and TVS slipped to fourth spot. TVS is planning to launch 4 new motorcycle models this year. The first to enter the market is Qube, a hybrid type scooter, by june 2012. This scooter is also displayed in the auto expo in the last two years.
Qube has a two sources of power, one is 100cc four stroke engine, and the second one is from an electric hub motor.
TVS is also planning to launch a new model bike, in the 125cc segment, at the entry level. Bike also has a four speed manual gear transmission system. Along with these bikes, TVS is also re-launching it Victor model by the end of this year. TVS is set off for a big lead in the indian automotive industry.
